Pilates is more than just a sequence of movements on a mat or piece of equipment. It encompasses balance between stability and mobility in functional movement. It requires core activation and stabilization, total awareness, focus, and control to execute each full body movement.
The focus required during the mind-body work of Pilates is an exercise itself, and perhaps the defining feature of this system of movement. The body awareness you will develop flows outside the studio into your everyday life. The physical effort of the Pilates breathing and movements help calm the mind and body, alleviate body aches and pains and create greater confidence approaching an active lifestyle.
In-Studio Group Sessions
The sessions are intentionally limited to 4 to keep them personal and allow the teacher to monitor your movements. Variations of movements are provided, allowing both beginners and those with experience to participate in a safe and challenging full body workout. In all Sessions, you will be encouraged to respect your abilities, yet challenge yourself to improve your core strength and stability, flexibility, posture, and form. Although I do my best to keep an eye on everyone in a session, if you are just coming out of rehab, coming back from a pregnancy or have a condition that requires personal attention, I recommend that you take a few private lessons until you are ready to attend a group session. This ensures your safety and well being, as well as providing continuity to the session experience for the other participants.
Pilates Mat using Arc or Small Props
This session is a traditional Pilates mat session with a contemporary flare. The elements of breathing, centering, concentration, control and precision are combined in one flowing session enabling you to stretch and strengthen your body’s deep core muscles. Receive a full body workout performed on the mat or arc and utilizing additional small props. The session will include movements in a sitting, standing and lying down positions. You will use your own body weight along with small props to help you really isolate and work your deep core muscles.
Mixed Equipment Sessions
The session utilizes multiple pieces of equipment, offering a well-rounded Pilates equipment experience at an affordable price. The equipment is designed to guide the body into the correct form, as they both assist and create tension for movements while offering feedback to help you find the right muscular engagement. During the session the client will work in 15 – 20-minute segments on a piece of equipment, while the teacher floats between the clients offering individual variations and ensuring proper movement execution. Pre-requisite: Completion of the Getting Started Package is required before attending the Mixed Equipment session. To ensure your safety and well being, as well as providing continuity of the session experience, permission from the teacher is required to join this session.

New Group Session Offerings
The studio is growing, so if you don’t see a timeframe that will work with your schedule – please share what your needs are. New group sessions will be offered if 2 or more people are interested in the same timeslot. Please note that packages expire 5 months from the date of purchase. Pre-registration is required and closes 6 hours prior to session beginning. Late arrivals of more than 10 minutes will not be allowed to participate.
In-Studio Private and Duet Sessions
Posture & Movement Assessment Sessions
During this 60-minute session, an assessment is performed to analyze how you hold and move your body, which brings awareness to problems that can then be corrected. The results of the assessment are used to develop a personalized workout plan of specific exercises and stretches, which can help correct the issues. During this session you will learn how to correct poor posture while standing or sitting, as well as execute specific exercises and stretches on your personalized workout plan.

Private Session
Private sessions are available to all levels of clients, from rehabilitation to the super athlete.
A private session is personalized workout where you work at your own level on a variety of equipment. The private session optimizes your time to reach your fitness goals and feel the increased vitality very quickly.
Private sessions are a great way to make sure you’re getting the most out of your group sessions. Periodic private sessions will you focus on your own movement patterns and allow your teacher to tune-up your form.
Private sessions can also be used as a method to structure a specific home exercise program that meets your needs. The teacher will advise you on exercises, props (such as a foam roller or exercise ball) and alignment correction so that you gain the most from your home sessions.
Sessions are 55 minutes in length.

Duet Sessions
A semi private session is ideal for clients with similar levels of Pilates study, who want to experience the “energy” and rhythm of a session, but with more individualized instruction. Rotating among the various pieces of equipment, the client receives the benefits of the Pilates equipment through a varied and diverse workout.

Online Sessions
Attend a session that offers a traditional Pilates mat session with a contemporary flare. The elements of breathing, centering, concentration, control and precision are combined in one flowing session, enabling you to stretch and strengthen your body’s deep core muscles.
This Pilates full body workout is performed on a mat. The session will include movements in a sitting, standing and lying down positions. You will use your own body weight and small props like a ball, to help you really isolate and work your deep core muscles. Variations of the movements will be provided, allowing both beginners and those with experience, to participate in a safe and challenging core workout. Please note that a chair and standing sessions are available, for those not comfortable with getting down to the floor.
