Day 7 of March MATness features the Double Leg Stretch. The Double Leg stretch can be a very challenging movement, as the abdominals are holding the pelvis and torso stable throughout the movement. The lower back remains firmly anchored to the mat as the arms and legs stretch away from the center of the body and then are drawn back into the center. The head remains stable while the neck and shoulders are relaxed and the eyes stay focused forward. Enjoy!
